Operation Red Nose is going strong
12-11-2005
The Sherbrooke branch of Operation Red Nose is going strong and the volunteers do not fear the cold when it comes to bringing people safely home during the second weekend of the operation.Already, almost 400 volunteers have made a total of 600 trips. Company Involvement Many companies from the area have been involved in the last few days. Of those, Fanni Bakery, Cameron Extermination, ESA Environment, Communication Plus and CHLT 630. Last night, people from the FTQ (Federation of Quebec workers) and the SAAQ (Québec Society of Automobile Insurance) had to wear the red vests. Interstar and Garlock will be sharing this task the next night, while the Café du Palais are the partners for the next night. Impaired drivers are invited to take the initiative, to call a family member, a friend, a taxi or even Operation Nez Rouge. The number to remember until December 31st for a safe return is 821-4646.
