Description
Releasestar is designed to create a lubricant and release membrane between the imprint tool and the concrete surface. Releasestar creates non-uniform coloration, thereby creating a marble effect on fresh concrete surfaces.

Interstar Release is available in 22 standards colors as well as in an uncoloured version.

Technical Data
Packaging: Releasestar is available in 30-lb (13.6-kg) boxes.

Storage: Store in a dry area between 50°F and 90°F (10°C and 30°C). Protect from freezing and from high temperatures.

Properties: Releasestar is composed of a dry hydrophobic powder and iron oxide colorants.

Usage
Directions: Because settling may occur during shipping, mix product by shaking and turning box upside down several times prior to use.

Spreading: Releasestar should be spread by brush or from a burlap bag across the surface of the finished slab after bleed water has disappeared. The stamping or imprint process should immediately follow the application of Release agent.

Finishing: Allow the concrete to cure for 24 to 36 hours. After the curing time has elapsed, sweep excess Release powder off and wash Interstar Release off with Interstar Release cleaner and water. Use a soft broom to remove as much Release as desired, but do not apply so much pressure that the concrete surface will be damaged. Apply clear sealer to the clean, dry surface to finish. For a wet look that will enhance the color, we recommend Interseal acrylic sealers.

Curing: It is not necessary to use a curing agent or other method of curing when Releasestar is used.

Coverage: 900 to 1000 ft2 (89-93 m2)/ 30-lb box.
